Beulah Eanes Holley

Beulah Frances Eanes Holley went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Born April 1, 1928 to William Abner Eanes and Delma Edwards Eanes of Danville, VA. She was married to the love of her life, Harry William Holley of Whitmell, VA on November 11, 1946 for almost 66 years of blessings. Along with her parents and husband, Beulah was also preceded in death by her two brothers, William Coleman Eanes and Roy B. Eanes of Danville. Although she was a member of Glenwood Memorial Baptist Church in Danville for 80 years, she was also a beloved member of the Halifax community for the last ten years through her regular attendance of the First Baptist Church of South Boston and the Union Ruritan Club while she resided with her nephew Fred Eanes and wife Mary of Halifax. She remained faithful to her two churches through correspondence and attendance as she could. She was loved for her quiet yet strong nature and her love of family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In years past, she loved fishing, reading, homemaking, caregiving, teaching bible school, and square dancing. She also truly enjoyed her family beach trips, and most especially, spending time with her beloved dogs Alex and Sophie. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Holley of Danville; nephew Fred Eanes (Mary) of Halifax; nieces, Brenda Hunter {Larry) of Burnsville, NC; Ann Cook, of Danville; Wendy Hall (William) of Danville; Carolyn Williams, of Marietta, GA; Faye Weirbach (Judd) of Bolder City, NV; two additional nephews, William Holley (Erma) and Mike Eanes, both of Danville and a host of great- nieces and great nephews who loved her dearly. Beulah will also be missed by many friends and a very special friend Polly Kell. Thank you all for your love and care of our dear Beulah! Her graveside service will be conducted on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Garrett Bowman and the Reverend Susan Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church South Boston, at 815 North main Street South Boston, VA 24582. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the family.
