Bishop Beryl Bullock Sr.

March 8, 1929 - March 28, 2022

Bishop Beryl Bullock, Sr., also known as B.B., age 93, passed away peacefully at the UNC Hospice Care Home Center in Pittsboro, NC on the evening of March 28, 2022. B.B. was born to parents Robert and Louisa Bullock on March 8, 1929, in Public, Kentucky. He resided in Kentucky until he joined the Marine Corps in 1946 and he proudly served for 3 years. B.B. and his family later moved to Glasgow, VA where they raised a family and served their community. They were active members of Glasgow Baptist Church until they moved to Milton, NC. B.B. and his wife Helen enjoyed their golden years in Milton, NC where they attended and were members of Shiloh Baptist Church surrounded by family and friends. B.B. is survived by his wife of 73 years Helen Bullock of Milton, NC, six sons, Bishop B. Bullock Jr. and wife Lynn of Camden, SC, Michael and wife Dianna of North Wilkesboro, NC, Bill of Lake Gaston, NC, Ronald of Houston, TX, Don and wife Barbara of Lexington, VA and Pat and wife Teri, of Milton, NC, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Arrangements will be handled by Wrenn-Yeatts Memorial Funeral Home in Yanceyville, NC. Visitors can pay their respects on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 9am-6pm at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors at their home, 8509 NC Hwy 62N Milton, NC 27305 on the same day from 2:00-6:00pm. A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 3806 Forge Road, Glasgow, VA 24555 with the Rev. Rusty Oliver of Shiloh Baptist Church, Milton, NC officiating the service. Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington, VA will handle the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 1760 Yarboroughs Mill Road, Milton, NC.27305, as well as Mt. Zion Cemetery, 671 North Dry Well Rd, Natural Bridge VA, 24578. Wrenn-Yeatts Yanceyville, NC is respectfully serving the Bullock family.
