Charlotte S. Wilson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charlotte Snead Wilson, 74, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 after being in declining health for several weeks. Mrs. Wilson was born in Danville, VA on July 21, 1947, a daughter of the late Eldridge C. Snead and Sarah Lee Owen Snead. She spent all of her life in the Danville, VA and Rockingham, NC communities where she was a graduate of George Washington High School class of 1965. She worked at Dan River Mills at Hilton Hall in the accounts receivables department for over thirty years and then worked as a financial assistant at Averett University until her retirement. Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Irma Marie Murphy; and brother-in-law, Curtis Murphy. Survivors include, her daughter, Robin Wells Brown and her husband, Todd of Dry Fork, VA; her granddaughters, McKenzie Brown Abbott and her husband Ben and Madison Blair Brown; her sister, Bonnie Sue Gibson and husband Lewis of Danville, Virginia. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Larry Wray officiating. The family will be at the residence of her daughter, Robin Brown at 308 Pleasant Gap Dr. Dry Fork, VA 24549. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the Wilson family.
