Edith Glass Bradshaw

May 15, 1931 - January 19, 2022

Edith Glass Bradshaw, 90, of 1327 Westover Drive went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Roman Eagle Health and Rehab Center. Born in Halifax County, VA on May 15, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Artie Willis Glass and Beulah Carter Glass. Edith retired from Fairview United Methodist Church where she was the secretary. She was an active member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she taught both children and adult Sunday school classes over the years. She married Thomas Winston Bradshaw, who passed on Oct. 20, 1998. Survivors include her three daughters, Joan B. Hulette (Thomas), Carolyn B. Roberts, Janet B. Ferrell (Dale), a sister, Nancy G. Adkins, and seven grandchildren, Brian Hulette (Julie), Beth H. Powell (Dan), John Hulette (Emily), Brittany Roberts-Rella (Anthony), Kevin Ferrell (Ashley), Brandon Ferrell, Kaitlyn F. Woodard (Granger), and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Clayton Roberts, and four sisters, Virginia G. Rice, Cecil G. Mills, Marie G. Henderson, and Dot G. Clark. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Rev. Stan Wright officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service and at the residence at other times. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Bradshaw family.
