Frances Campbell Clark

March 11, 1938 - May 13, 2022

Frances Campbell Clark, 84, of 512 Little Creek Road, Ringgold, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022 at her residence after a decline in her health for several years. Frances was born on March 11, 1938, in Danville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Leon L. Campbell and Carrie Perkins Huffstickler. She lived all of her life in Pittsylvania County where she owned and operated Aunt Frances Day Care for 45 years. She kept children of multiple generations. Frances was a member of Williamson Memorial Presbyterian Church. Prior to becoming a member of Williamson Memorial, she was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church where she worked with the youth group. She loved cooking, gardening and tending her flowers, animals, and dancing. On March 25, 1960, she was married to James T. (Jimmy) Clark, who survives. In addition to her husband, of the residence, she is survived by a son, James T. (Jim) Clark, Jr. of Durham, North Carolina, a daughter, Melanie C. Giles (Lewis) of Ringgold, Virginia, Grandchildren, Zachary James Clark (Lauren) and Sean Austin Clark, brother, Charles Campbell of Ringgold, Virginia, three sisters, Gay Strader of McDonough, Georgia, Barbara Hudgins, and Karen Kuchinski (Mike), both of Ringgold, Virginia, Patricia and Bill Sterner of Ringgold, Virginia. Frances was predeceased by a daughter, Jeanie Lynne Strader, and two brothers, Leon (Sonny) Campbell and Timothy (Tim) Huffstickler, A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Carl Burger officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2022, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Funeral Home North Main Chapel. At other times they will be at the residence. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is serving the Clark family.
