Frances Lewis Cooper, 77, of Blanch, NC passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. Born in Pittsboro, NC on December 10, 1944, she was a daughter of the late James Lenard Lewis and Mary Wiles Lewis. Frances retired from Self Help Credit Union where she was a loan officer. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, where she helped start a prayer shawl ministry outreach and served in various positions. She was predeceased by two husbands, Floyd Melvin Rowland, Sr., Dennis Lloyd Cooper, and a brother, James L. Lewis, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Beth R. Robertson (Gary), two grandchildren, Kaitlin R. Thomas (Robert), Daniel Gray Robertson (Lindsay), two great-grandchildren, Cameron Glen Thomas, Kellan Gray Robertson, three sisters, Virginia L. Andrews, Ruby L. Mumpower, Judy L. Smith and a brother, Johnny Lewis (Doris). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Cifers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church and at other times at the residence of her daughter, Beth Robertson, in Providence. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Providence Baptist Church. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the family during this time.
