James Frederick Davis

September 29, 1939 - April 16, 2022

James (Jim) Frederick Davis, 82, of 6910 NC Hwy. 86 North, Providence, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 16, 2022 after being in declining health for the past two weeks. Mr. Davis was born in Huntington, PA on September 29, 1939 a son to the late Samuel Paul Davis and Virginia Mae Ripple Davis. He was a graduate of the Saxton-Liberty High School, Class of 1957. Mr. Davis was a member of the local Union for Plumbers & Pipefitters, in Saxton, PA prior to his retirement and moving to the Providence, NC community in 2005. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church where he was very active in the church activities during the time he attended the church. Mr. Davis had served with the U.S. Navy. On May 16, 2008 he married the late Judith Ann Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters, Jodie Davis, Jamie Reilly, two sisters, Nancy Kinzey, Pat McColl, two brothers, Jack Davis, Samuel P. Davis and nephew William Shaffer of the residence. A Private Memorial Service for Mr. Davis may be conducted at a later date. Wrenn-Yeatts Yanceyville is respectfully serving the Davis family.
