Jesse Holden Felts, Jr.

January 27, 1938 - April 13, 2022

Jesse Holden Felts, Jr, 84, of 207 Woodside Road, Danville, VA went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2022 after a short decline in his health. Jesse was born in Warrenton, NC on January 27, 1938 a son to the late Jesse Holden Felts and Lizzie Staton Felts. He had lived most of his life in the Ringgold Community and in Danville, VA. Jesse was a graduate of Dan River High School, Class of 1957. Jesse had owned and operated the former Riverside Homes Inc. prior to his retirement. He had served with the Virginia National Guard as a Sgt. 1st Class. Jesse was a very active member of Central Blvd. Church of God where he served on the Pastors Council, as Usher & Deacon. He had worked as a leader of Boy Scout Troop, # 365 and was a member of the former Ringgold JC’s for several years. On April 15, 1958 Jesse married Patsy Chaney Felts who survives of the residence. He is also survived by one son, Michael S. Felts of Danville, VA, one daughter, Kelly Felts Cipriani (Jason) of Charlotte, NC, one sister, Lizzie Ann Felts of Ringgold, VA, one brother, Charles J. Felts, (Connie) of Chesterfield, VA, five grandchildren, Chelsea Felts, Owen Felts, Jordan, Megan & Gavin Cipriani. He was predeceased by one sister, Ella Felts Parker. Funeral Services for Jesse will be conducted on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm from Central Blvd. Church of God by the Reverend John Meadows. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:45 pm. prior to the service and at other times they will be at the residence, 207 Woodside Road, Danville, VA 24540, (in Green Acres).
