June Hutcherson Warren Lertora, 81, of 1541 Airport Road, Ringgold, VA died on Monday, June 14, 2021 at her residence after being in declining health for several months. June was born in Danville, Virginia on September 26, 1939 daughter of the late John Preston Hutcherson and Sarah McClanahan Hutcherson. She spent the majority of her life in the Danville and Ringgold areas where she was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Hope Church. June was first married to the Rev. Charles Fredrick “Buddy” Warren who died on July 13, 1999. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Sue Hutcherson; and a brother, John Preston Hutcherson. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly W. Joyce (Rowland) of Pinnacle, NC, Kelly W. Forsythe (Tim) of Signal Mountain, TN and Kristy W. Astin (Billy) of Ringgold, VA; grandchildren, Preston Astin, Peyton Astin, Adam Smith (Lauren), Jacob Smith and Luke Smith; a sister, Joyce H. Keatts (Floyd) of Danville, VA; a niece, Sherri Giannini (Rob) of Danville, VA; and a nephew, Scott Keatts of Danville, VA. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Burial Park with Pastor Clint Conner officiating. The family will be at the residence, 1541 Airport Road Ringgold, VA 24586. Memorial Donations can be made to Hope Church Food Pantry at 1118 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540. The family would like to express a special thank you to June’s caregivers Stephanie Clark from Commonwealth Hospice and her sitter, Brittany Mullis for the love and care given to June and her family during this difficult time.
