Kimberley Elaine Richardson

June 27, 1965 - February 14, 2022

Kimberly Elaine (Kim) Richardson, 56, of 800 Ringgold Road, Ringgold, VA went home suddenly to be with the Lord in the early hours of February 14, 2022. Kim was born in Danville, VA, on June 27, 1965 a daughter of the late Bobby Lee Cocke and Joan Henderson Necessary who survives. She graduated from Salem High School, class of 1983 and from Virginia Western Community College, class of 2001 with a Degree in Dental Hygiene. Kim was employed by Riverview Dental Practice. On July 18, 1987 Kim married the late Dennis Glenn Richardson who went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2022. Kim and Dennis were both active members of the Lakewood Community Church. Kim is survived by her Mother, Joan Henderson Necessary and her Step-Father, Alvin Necessary of Danville, VA, two brother in laws, Robert Kelly (Bob) Richardson, (Donna) of Norlina, NC, Ronnie Dean (Big Bird) Richardson, (Deloris) of Ringgold, VA, one sister in law, Carolyn Weatherford, (Tommy) of Statesville, NC, several nieces & nephews and a special friend, Jennifer Statzer. Funeral Services for Kim will be conducted on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Lakewood Community Church by Reverend Ryan Call. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. and at other times at residence of Robbie & Donna Richardson, 1037 Ringgold Depot Road, Ringgold, VA 24586 or at the residence of her mother, Joan & Alvin Necessary, 120 Old Piney Forest Road, Lot # 80, Danville, VA 24540. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Lakewood Community Church,120 Clarks Mill Road, Ringgold, VA or to the Ringgold Fire & Rescue, P.O.
