Larry Wayne Wilford

Larry Wayne Wilford, 74, of 415 Arch Cook Rd, Pelham, NC, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC, after being in declining health for the last four months. Mr. Wilford was born on February 18, 1948, a son of the late John Wayne Wilford and the late Stella Crutchfield Wilford. He spent most of his life in the Danville area until he moved to Pelham, NC in 2008. He worked for Gibson Heating and Air until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching his grandsons play ball. Mr. Wilford was married to the late, Patricia Ann Taylor Wilford who died on May 26, 2008. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, James Wilford and Richard Wilford; and a sister, Carolyn W. Gibbs. Survivors include, his daughter, Pamela W. Taylor (John) of Pelham, NC; five grandchildren, Zack Taylor, David Taylor, John Taylor, Jr., Kelly Taylor, and Jackson Taylor; and four great grandchildren, Cooper Wayne Taylor, Carson James Taylor, Faith Taylor and Hope Taylor. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will be at the residence of his daughter, Pamela Taylor at 2268 Red Marshall Road, Pelham, NC, 27311. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the family.
