Linda L. Hayse

Linda Ruth Leonard Hayse, 75, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Lynchburg General Hospital after being in declining health for a number of years. Mrs. Hayse was born in North Carolina on September 24, 2945, daughter of the late James Clifton Leonard and Thelma Blanche Broglin. In her early years Mrs. Hayes worked as a waitress for various restaurants before becoming a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She first married the late Jesse Williams the married the late Curtis Hayes. In addition to her parents, first and second husband she was predeceased by a brother, David Leonard and Brenda Sue Leonard. Survivors include her children, Wesley Williams, Sr. and wife, Tami of Danville, VA, Teresa Cukovecki and husband, Steve of Xenia, OH, Randy Williams of Dayton, OH, Darlene Smith of Dayton, OH and Christopher Williams of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Butch Leonard of Danville, VA, Loretta Brown of Danville, VA, Katherine Tosh and husband, Bill of Danville, VA, Karen Jean Sheets and husband, Don of Danville, VA, Nathan Leonard and wife Pauline of Gretna, VA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is respectfully serving the Hayse family.
