Nancy Elaine Riddle Moore

Nancy Elaine Riddle Moore, 76, of 953 Livestock Road Danville, VA left her earthly home on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from complication of COVID 19 at Centra Health in Lynchburg, VA. She was born on December 15, 1945 in Java, VA the daughter of the late Harvie T. Riddle and Mary Worley Riddle. Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Spring Garden High School. She worked Dan River Inc. Spray Cotton Mill in Eden, NC. and Chatham Knitting Mill in Chatham, VA. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Alan R. Moore of the residence of whom she married on June 19, 1971. Survivors also include one step-son Michael Moore and step grandson Ryan Moore of Roxboro, NC. in addition to one brother; Danny H. Riddle, significant other; Eracema Harris of Penhook VA, two sisters; Pattie R Davis (John) of Nathalie VA. and Susan Riddle of Danville, VA. three nieces; Joyce D. Brown (Jeff) of Nathalie VA. Janet D. Conner (Roger) of South Boston VA , Julie D. Lacks (Archie) of Clover, VA. eleven great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-son Kenneth Moore of Roxboro NC. and a sister in law Sandra R. Riddle. Nancy also leaves behind her five Sugars (cats) for whom she and Alan provided a very protective loving home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel with the Rev. Daniel Custer. Interment will follow Highland Burial Park in Danville, VA The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM at the funeral home and at the residence at other times.
