Pamela Jay Brown, 63, of Danville, VA, died on Monday, May 10, 2021 at SOVAH Health-Danville, after a decline in health for the past 10 years. Pamela was born on November 16, 1957, in Nashua, NH, a daughter of the late Norman Curtis Brown and Bertina Gertrude Brawn Brown. She had lived in Maine, Florida, Louisiana, and California, before moving to Danville. She worked for Norm’s Commercial Cleaning until she retired due to disability. In her spare time, she loved to paint, garden, and fish. She was of the Christian Faith. She is survived by two children, Jason W. Brown (Galen Hanley), of Danville, VA, and Kelsey S. Brown, of Chatham, VA; a grandson, Jake Fazio; four brothers, Kevin Brown (Michelle), of Suffolk, VA, Kirstin Brown (Kelly), of Texas, Curtis Brown, of Washington State, and Kerry Brown, of Maine; and a sister, Kathy Brown, of Newport, Maine. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Reverend Kevin Brown officiating.
