Tammy Lou Lowe

January 12, 1965 - April 4, 2022

Tammy Lou Lowe, 57, of Ringgold, VA, entered the gates of her heavenly home after a seven-month battle with cancer. On January 12, 1965, she was born in Danville VA, to the late James Luther Lowe and Dorothy Scearce Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Lisa Lowe Aherron of Ringgold VA, and a brother, James Anthony Lowe of Wilmington, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Fallon Smith Phillips, her domestic partner, Justin Jones, her son Joshua Nile Smith of Ringgold VA, her brother, Monte Lowe of Pilot Mountain, NC, her sister Scarlett Lowe, of Ringgold VA, and aunt, Naydeen Haden of Fredericksburg VA. Tammy also leaves behind her granddaughters, Taylor Hendley (Kevin Hendley), Briella, Layla, Madelyn, April, and grandsons, Chace, Diesel Ray, Joshua, and Covyn, great-grand-daughters, Willow and Havyn, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a very special friend, Robert Smith. Tammy attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Dan River High School District and worked at Dan River Mills in her younger years. She was a free-spirit, nature-lover, animal activist who loved her children, family, and friends. She leaves behind her two cats, Petra and Neffie. Her favorite quote was, “Live to love and born to die.” Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Danville, VA, with Daryl Joyce officiating. Wrenn-Yeatts is serving friends and family. A celebration of life in her honor will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Robert Smith, 420 Inca Lane, in Ringgold, VA. The family is requesting donations to your local animal shelter, rescue, or American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. As Tammy would say, “Love you later because good-byes are forever.” Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the Lowe family.
