Tommy L. Lynskey

February 5, 1962 - April 7, 2021

Tommy Lynn Lynskey, 59, of 1493 Loomfixer Lake Rd, Danville, VA died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Sovah Health. Tommy was born in Danville on February 5, 1962 son of the late Martin Thomas Lynskey, Jr. and Martha Anne Maxie. He spent all of his life in the Danville area where he was the owner and operator of Lynskey’s Car Wash on Riverside Dr. Tommy enjoyed going 4x4 trail riding, Mustangs, and he loved his faithful dog Ajax. He was of the Baptist faith. On November 3, 1989 he married the love of his life, Dee Lynn Lynskey. In addition to his wife of the residence, Tommy is survived by his daughter, Farrah Nicole Lynskey (Kenny Osborne) of the residence; his son, Matthew Lynn Lynskey and wife Jessica Marie of Danville, VA. His oldest son, Rickey Matherly of Danville, VA; step-mother, Betsy Lynskey; grandchildren, Levi Thomas Day-Lynskey, Marli Marie Lynskey and Matalynn Ray Lynskey; sister, Denise Diane Lynskey; mother-in-law, Linda Ligon; brother-in-law, Darrell Arehart and his children, Savannah and Dakota; and numerous cousins, family members, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Lynskey Family Cemetery off Lynskey Farm Rd. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
