Wesley Gene Honeycutt

Wesley Gene Honeycutt of 2141 River Ridge Road Danville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the age of 20. He was born on March 15, 2002, in Danville. Wesley was a graduate of Tunstall High School and recently graduated with his Associate’s Degree from Danville Community College. Wesley was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Wesley worked for Ramsey Restoration, Michelle Bowers’ Old House Life, and was involved with the Old West End Project in downtown Danville. Wesley was passionate about learning how to restore historic houses and enjoyed every project he worked on. Wesley loved hanging with his friends and family, modifying his truck, and was a sneaker fanatic. Wesley is survived by his parents Randy and Wende Honeycutt, his sisters Britni and Tessa Honeycutt, his grandmothers Elizabeth Scearce and Harriet Jennings, his uncle John Eddie Jennings III, his aunts Tina Brickhouse (Dudley) of Texas, Gwen Smothers (Vic) of North Carolina, Angela Chang (David) of North Carolina, nephews Luke and Ethan Blythe of North Carolina and numerous cousins. Wesley was predeceased by grandfathers, BG Grover (Gene) Scearce, John Edward Jennings Jr, Glenn Morgan, grandmother, Jackie Morgan. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church Thursday June 16th from 6-8 pm. Funeral will also be held at Woodlawn Friday June 17th at 11 am. Graveside will occur at Scearce Family Cemetery following service, on Pine Lake Road Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive visitors at 2141 River Ridge Road Danville, VA 24541. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Honeycutt family.
