William Ray Brendle

William Ray Brendle, 79, of 245 Atwater Street, Yanceyville, NC went home to be with Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021 after being in declining health for the past two years. William was born in Jackson County, NC, on January 20, 1942. He had lived in Yanceyville for the past 60 years. William had retired from Thomas Brothers Oil Company after 36 years of service as a delivery driver. He was a very active member of Welcome Baptist Church in Blanch. NC, where he had taught Sunday School for 40 years, served as a Deacon and in many other positions in the church as long as his health permitted. William was married to the late Marilyn Faye Collie Brendle. William is survived by three sons, Ray Brendle, (Norma) of Ringgold, VA, Thomas Brendle, (Hope) of Evington, NC & Darrell Brendle of Yanceyville, NC, seven grandchildren, Ryan Brendle, Katrina Brendle, Kashana Brendle, Amber Shelton, David Brendle, Matthew Brendle, & Micah Brendle. He was predeceased by two brothers. A Private Graveside service for William will conducted on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery by his son, Darrell Brendle. Wrenn-Yeatts Yanceyville is respectfully serving the Brendle family.
