Faye Walton Holland

Faye Walton Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2026, after bravely battling Myelodysplastic Syndrome along with Dementia for numerous years, and always with a smile on her face. Faye was born on September 04, 1936, to Andrew S Walton Sr and Nina Scarce Walton who predeceased her. She married Clarence Holland on April 09, 1955, and they had 71 wonderful years together. She graduated from Whitmell Farm Life High School in 1954 and retired from American National Bank in 2001, after 46 years. She was a member of Whitmell Christian Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, and in the Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves behind the family that she dearly loved; daughters Angela Walker (Randy) and Robyn Terry. Grandchildren Lea Turner (Magen), Jason Turner (Katie), Cody Terry (Haylee), Brittany Terry, Kayla Williams and step-grandchildren Chasty Polk and JD Walker (Tamara). 5 great grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren. Brothers Wayne Walton and Andrew S Walton Jr (Linda Echols), sisters-in-law Elaine Cranford, Pauline Holland, Marie McNeely and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son-in-law Tony Terry, and brothers/sisters-in-law Mildred Walton, John & Sara Holland, Henry & Lois Allen, Carol & Wylene Holland, Kenneth Holland, Calvin & Jeane Barber, Elise Motley, John Cranford, and Dudley McNeely. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the wonderful care given to Faye by Terri Oakes. Words will never express how much we appreciate her and all that she did to help us take care of Mama. We would also like to thank Melissa, Samantha, Elizabeth, Penny, and Chaplain Joel Fletcher with Commonwealth Home Health Hospice for all of their help and support. Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 3:00 pm, at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with interment to follow in the Scarce Family Cemetery. The family will accept visitors at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, 182 Sunset Drive, Dry Fork. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Whitmell Christian Church, and mailed to 708 Bowl Drive, Dry Fork VA 24549.
