Jacqueline Clark Anderson

An Angel has taken our precious mother, sister, and friend Jacqueline “Jackie” Lee Clark Anderson to Heaven from her home. She was born in Danville, VA on June 2, 1941 to her late parents, Jack Dyer and Bernice Apple Clark. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the late Charles W. Anderson, Sr. Jackie was a graduate of Dan River High School and Averett University. She enjoyed working as a Tour Director for Holiday Tours and Sunshine Tours, traveling all across the country, as well as helping in her husband’s lumber business. Jackie had a very giving heart, always thinking of others and holding them in her prayers, celebrating in their joys and sharing the burdens of those in need or pain. For many years she would reach out to her community with her delicious home-baked desserts and pies. As a member of Ringgold Baptist Church, she was a rock, teaching a Sunday School Class for many years and attending whenever the door was open. She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Elizabeth Anderson Stump (Robert); a grandson, Zully Pukanecz; sisters, Judy Hodnett, Mary Lily Barker, Rae Rhodes (Rockford); and sister-in-law Patricia Clark; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Charles W. Anderson, Jr., her husband, Charles W. Anderson, Sr., and a brother, Jack Dyer Clark, Jr. A celebration of life service will be held at Ringgold Baptist Church on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Duane Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the Church from 12:30 until 1:45 P.M. and at other times they will be at the residence on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Ringgold Baptist Church, 4620 Ringgold Church Road, Ringgold, VA 24586 or the Ringgold Volunteer Fire & Rescue, 3880 Tom Fork Road, Ringgold, VA 24586. The earth has lost a valued treasure, and the Heavens have gained a beautiful and pure soul! God welcomes her with open arms, proclaiming “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is serving the Anderson family.
